ABC stands for Archipelago Brewing Company, the historical Singapore brewery dating to 1933 and now operating from Jurong as a working brewery and taproom. The brewery makes seven house beers, all on tap on-site, and runs the only beer-and-brewery-tour programme in the country.

Our Take on ABC Craft Beer
The brewery is a working facility — visit on a tour-day weekend and you can see the tanks, the fermentation vessels, and the bottling line. Tours run twice on Saturdays and Sundays (S$30 per person, includes a four-beer flight and a souvenir glass) and the taproom is open after every tour for ninety minutes.
Seven house beers: ABC Pilsner, ABC Wheat, ABC Pale Ale, ABC IPA, ABC Saison, ABC Stout, and a rotating seasonal. The Singapore Stout — built around local kopi (coffee) — is the brewery's most interesting beer and is unique to the on-site taproom. It does not bottle.
The brewery is genuinely out of the way (Jurong, accessible by car or taxi only). The trade-off is that the beer is fresher than anywhere else in Singapore can offer and the prices are well below city-centre rates. Pair the trip with a tour booking; the format is built for a two-hour Saturday afternoon.
Best time to visit: Weekday evenings before 9pm for the quieter version of the room; weekends after 9pm for the busier one. Reservations recommended where the bar accepts them.
