A shophouse jazz venue on Bali Lane that draws the best local jazz talent alongside international touring acts. The Moroccan-influenced interior is beautiful, the cocktails are worth ordering, and the late-night sessions on Fridays run until 2am.
The arts centre's free outdoor stage runs nightly performances from local acts across jazz, folk, indie, and world music. No cover charge, open to all. One of Singapore's genuinely great free cultural offerings.
Clarke Quay's original blues and rock venue has been running since 1994. Tight bands in a small space with cheap drinks and a crowd that actually listens. The Thursday blues nights are the best in Singapore.
