Seville Bar Guide

30+ bars across Seville's drinking neighbourhoods, curated by editors who know the city.

Seville's bars are inseparable from its tapas. The sherry tradition — fino, manzanilla, oloroso, palo cortado — is the regional pride. El Rinconcillo has poured sherry from oak barrels since 1670. The bars open at 8pm and run until 2am, but the real life happens between 10pm and midnight when everyone is on the third tapa.

Five neighbourhoods cluster the action. Triana across the river is the flamenco-bar spine. Santa Cruz runs the heritage tapas-bar quarter. Alameda is the indie creative-class district. Macarena is the residential local-bar quarter. El Arenal holds the bullring-area heritage bars.

Sherry glasses run €1.50 to €3. Tapas €2 to €4 each. Cocktails €7 to €11. Tipping is rounding up. Most bars run to 2am.
