Rand Club — Marshalltown

Rand Club is Johannesburg's 1887-founded gentlemen's club — a magnificent Edwardian building in Marshalltown with one of Africa's most extensive whisky collections and a Members'-and-guests-only bar that opens to the public on Friday evenings.

The whisky bar runs to 400+ bottles including extensive Scottish, Japanese and Irish depth. The room is wood-panelled with leather chesterfields and a billiards room next door. Heritage tour available with a drink purchase.
