Bairro Alto's Forgotten-Aperitif Bar
Byrrh Bar is Bairro Alto's most respected aperitivo bar — built around the heritage French aperitif Byrrh and other forgotten European bitters. The 28-seat room is dimly lit with leather banquettes and a long mahogany bar.
The cocktail program runs through 12 forgotten-aperitif builds — Byrrh-Vermouth, Suze, Picon, Salers — rebuilt with classical technique. The crowd is Lisbon cocktail enthusiasts 25-55.
Pair with Red Frog for a more classical complement.
