The Bar That Started Modern Lisbon Cocktails
Cinco Lounge is a heritage Lisbon cocktail bar in Príncipe Real. The room is preserved early 2000s — leather banquettes, dim warm lighting, around 40 seats — and the cocktail programme is committed to classical discipline. The bar opened in 2007 and effectively started the modern Lisbon cocktail scene.
The drinks are precise. The bartenders are formally trained. The seasonal menu rotates with thoughtful Portuguese-leaning original cocktails alongside reliable classics. Cinco was a destination before Lisbon was a destination.
