The Key Room No. 72 hides a 1920s cocktail room inside the Josh Hotel on Ari Soi 4, entered with a keycard from the front desk. The drinks run spirit-forward and the red room seats only a handful. It opens at 6pm and runs to 2am.

Salt spreads a glass dining room, terrace, and garden across a corner of Ari Soi 4. The kitchen sends out sushi and wood-fired pizza alongside fruity cocktails and well-priced wine. The garden fills with a young Ari crowd through the cool season.

Bar Us takes a pared-back approach to cocktails from a house on Phahonyothin Soi 7. Drinks run from 320 to 400 baht and lean on a few clean ingredients. The back garden is one of the better outdoor drinking spots in the city.

Pakalolo brings a tropical, Hawaiian-meets-Florida theme to Ari Soi 4. The drinks lean sweet and easy rather than spirit-forward. It opens daily from 5pm to midnight.
Ari Samphan Soi 1 · $$
Mikkeller Ari pours from around twenty taps in an airy white house on Ari Samphan Soi 1. The board leans toward Thai and Asian craft beers alongside the Danish brewery's own. A short Thai menu backs up the beer.
