Accountability
Found an error? Here is exactly how to tell us and how we put it right — visibly and on the record.

barsforKings aims to be accurate on every page. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly. This page explains how to report an error and what happens next.
Email [email protected] with the page URL and what you believe is incorrect. If you can point us to a primary source (the venue, an official menu, a booking page), it helps us verify faster.
We acknowledge every correction within 72 hours. We then either make the fix or explain, on the record, why we disagree. Factual errors — address, hours, price band, ownership, menu detail — are prioritised and corrected as soon as they are verified.
Material corrections are made visibly, not silently. When we change a substantive fact or judgement, we update the page's last updated date and, where the change affects meaning, add a dated correction note at the foot of the page describing what changed. We do not delete the record of a correction.
A correction fixes something that was wrong. An update reflects something that has changed in the world — a bar that has moved, closed, or changed concept. Both are dated; updates follow the cadence set out in our Methodology.
If you are unhappy with how a correction was handled, write to [email protected] and a co-founder will review it directly.
