Amsterdam's Modern Tiki Specialist
Hiding in Plain Sight is a modern tiki and cocktail bar in Westerpark. The back bar holds around 100 rums and the cocktail programme is serious about tropical classics done with proper specifications. The room is dim and intentional rather than over-themed.
The Mai Tai is built using the original 1944 Trader Vic recipe. The Painkiller uses Pusser's. The seasonal menu adds modern rum-led original cocktails. The bartenders are knowledgeable about each rum's provenance.
