Drupes is the rare central Athens cocktail bar that does not appear in tourist guides. Twenty seats, a single bartender, a tight cocktail menu that changes monthly, and a regular crowd of Pangrati locals. The room is small, dim, and conversational.

The drinks are well made and unfussy. The seasonal menu runs to six or eight cocktails, and you can also order classics. The bartender is knowledgeable and unhurried.
