Brussels' 1886 Heritage Belle Époque Café
Le Cirio is the heritage 1886 Brussels café-bar opposite the Bourse — a Belle Époque interior with mahogany panels, mirrors, and original ceiling murals. Operating continuously since opening, the bar is a Brussels heritage institution and a UNESCO-protected interior.
The signature is the half en half — half Champagne, half white wine, served in tall fluted glasses. Magritte and Hergé both drank here. The crowd is heritage tourists and older Brussels locals 50-80.
Pair with Goupil le Fol for a more theatrical complement.
