Our Take on The Hotel
rooftop · 27th floor The Hotel Brussels Rooftop, on the 27th floor of the property on Boulevard de Waterloo, is the other genuinely high-altitude option in the city after Vertigo and the one with the more polished hotel-bar offer. The terrace runs along two sides of the building with a long west-and-north view across the lower town toward the Grand Place spires and beyond, and the room handles its weather conversion through a serious retractable system.
The cocktail programme is built around a clean classics list, a small stable of seasonal signatures, and a competent Belgian-gin shelf; the wine list runs proper Belgian and French depth. Service is calm and hotel-polished. It ranks sixth because the room delivers a complete, conventionally excellent view-and-programme combination at a price that is fair for its tier, even if it lacks a single distinguishing signature that the leaders above can claim.
