Lidkoeb is a three-floor cocktail bar in Vesterbro and one of the most respected in Copenhagen. The format is unusual: ground floor as a casual cocktail bar, second floor as a quieter cocktail lounge with table service, top floor as a dedicated whisky bar with around 300 bottles.
The drinks are precise across all three floors. The seasonal menu rotates four times yearly. The whisky room upstairs has a separate cocktail menu using Scotch heavily. Bartenders are formally trained and the build follows classical technique.
The crowd shifts by floor, younger and casual downstairs, more committed cocktail crowd on the upper floors. Pair with Ruby for a complete Copenhagen cocktail evening.
