Maxvorstadt's Heritage Löwenbräu Beer Hall
Löwenbräukeller is the heritage Löwenbräu beer hall in Maxvorstadt. The 1880s building features the original Bavarian beer hall interior and the largest beer garden in central Munich (after the Englischer Garten).
The Löwenbräu Original is on tap from wooden barrels. The Weissbier is also brewed by the in-house brewery. The food menu is traditional Bavarian — Schweinshaxe, Schnitzel, Bratwurst, pretzels.
The crowd is mid-thirties Munich locals and visiting beer tourists. The summer beer garden is one of the great Munich drinking spots. Pair with Augustiner Stammhaus for a Munich beer hall evening.
