Little Red Door has been on rue Charlot since 2012 and routinely places in the World's 50 Best Bars list. The room is intimate, leather banquettes, dim lighting, around 50 seats, and the cocktail programme is one of the most conceptually ambitious in Paris.
Each seasonal menu commits to a unifying artistic concept. Past menus have included a Pantone colour palette where each cocktail represented a specific colour, and a typography menu where each drink was named for a font. The drinks are technically precise and the conceptual framing is more than gimmick.
The crowd is mid-thirties Marais locals, visiting cocktail enthusiasts, and the international art crowd. Pair with Candelaria a few blocks away for a complete Marais cocktail evening.
