Our Take

Reykjavik's Most Respected Live Music Venue

Hurra is Reykjavik's most respected live music venue with bar — a basement room with a small stage at one end, leather banquettes, and a long mahogany bar. Live music four nights a week — indie acts, electronica, occasional jazz.

Late dance floor opens after the live set. The crowd is Reykjavik creative-class 25-40. Cover charges run €5-15 depending on the act. Cash and card friendly.

Pair with Apotek earlier for a precise cocktail before the music.
