Loki Cafe is the heritage Reykjavik café-bar opposite Hallgrímskirkja church — operating since 2006 in a wooden townhouse. All-day food (Icelandic plates, fish soup, rye bread with butter), local craft beer on tap, Brennivín Icelandic schnapps, and the most postcard-perfect view of Reykjavik's iconic church.
The crowd is Reykjavik locals 30-60 and visiting Icelandic-culture tourists. Cash and card friendly. Walk-in only.
