Atlanta drinks after work across a wide map, so the right bar depends on which side of town you finish the day on. The city runs serious steakhouse bars, a vegan room with a real cocktail list, and a couple of places that pair drinks with bowling or a kitchen worth the trip. We judged these on the drink and the welcome.

For one stop, make it The Painted Pin for a drink and a few frames. For a night, start at Bar Vegan in Ponce City Market, move to Kevin Rathbun's bar in Inman Park, and finish over an old fashioned at Bone's.
Atlanta rewards a short drive between neighborhoods. Pick the side of town that suits the night, trust the bartenders, and order the house build. The after work scene is broader and better than the city gets credit for.
