Our Take on Brouwerij 't IJ
There are few stranger and more wonderful settings for a beer than inside a working windmill. Brouwerij 't IJ has brewed organic craft beer inside the De Gooyer windmill since 1985, making it one of the oldest craft breweries in the Netherlands. The taproom sits at the base of the mill, all wooden benches and the smell of hops, with the rotating sails visible through frosted windows. The beer list spans their core range and seasonal brews, available on tap and in bottle for takeaway.
