The Skylark Lounge — East Austin

The Skylark is a tiny Airport Boulevard blues lounge that's been pulling Austin musicians for over a decade — Tuesday-Saturday live blues, Sunday gospel brunch, and a proper local crowd that takes its music seriously.

The room is small (capacity around 75), exposed-brick, with a stage that takes up about a quarter of the floor. Drinks are simple — beer, well-poured cocktails, no pretensions. Cover charge $5-10.

Walk-in. Arrive before 9pm to claim a seat. Cash or card both fine.
