He has sat in sports bars on four continents — watching live games in Stockholm, Dublin, Bangkok, Abu Dhabi, Miami and Las Vegas — and brings that genuinely global perspective to every city guide on barsforKings.
His specialty is high-end sports bars, luxury hotel bars, and the single question he says separates a great bar city from an ordinary one: does the bar scene match the quality of the city's restaurants? The answer is usually no. The exceptions are what barsforKings is built to find.
Fredrik co-founded barsforKings in 2022 with Morten Andersen. He sets editorial standards for the site, oversees the US, Middle East, and Asia city desks, and personally reviews every sports-bar entry before publication.
