Our Take
Rock Bar — Jimbaran
Rock Bar is the wave-level deck at Ayana Resort — built into the rocks 14 metres above the Indian Ocean, accessed by a private cable car down the cliff face.
The bar is small (the deck holds maybe 80 people total) and the queue for the cable car starts forming around 4:30pm for sunset. Cocktails lean tropical — coconut margaritas, passionfruit caipirinhas — but the real draw is the position.
Walk-in only. Arrive 4-4:30pm for sunset or you'll queue 60+ minutes Thursday-Sunday.

Cable Car Descent
Private inclined elevator down the cliff. The arrival is half the experience.
