Asia Today is a small Chinatown cocktail bar with a menu built almost entirely from Asian spirits and ingredients - Japanese shōchū, Korean soju, Chinese baijiu, Thai rum, Indonesian arak, the local back-catalogue rather than the imported European one. The room is narrow, the seats fewer than thirty, and the bartenders work fast through a relatively short ordering window each shift. We asked one of the team to walk through which drinks get poured most often during a typical weeknight service.
The remaining 28% of pours is split across the rest of the menu, beer (mostly local craft), and the small natural-wine list. Order the Krachai Daiquiri first and a bartender's suggestion second. That is the visit.
