Korean Spirit Cocktails in Bangkok
Kohoo opened in 2023 to fill a gap in the Bangkok cocktail scene: serious Korean spirit cocktails. The room is small, design-forward, and built around a curved zinc bar. The cocktail programme features soju, makgeolli, and other Korean fermented spirits in serious craft cocktail builds.
The Soju Highball is the right first order — premium Korean soju, fresh citrus, soda. The Makgeolli Old Fashioned uses traditional Korean rice wine reduced down to syrup consistency, with bourbon and bitters. The Korean small plates are excellent.
The crowd is mid-thirties Bangkok creatives and Korean expats. Pair with Asia Today nearby for a tour of Bangkok's Asian-spirit cocktail movement.
