Bar Brutal opened in El Born from the Can Cisa team and quickly built itself into the most respected natural wine bar in Barcelona. The room is small — bare wood, exposed brick, around 30 seats — and the wine list runs to around 100 European naturals with a strong Catalan focus.
The kitchen produces small Catalan plates that pair thoughtfully with the wines. The food is precise and the kitchen is genuinely good. Standing room only after 20:00, when the bar fills.
