Cantillon is a working Lambic brewery in Anderlecht and one of the most important breweries on earth. The Cantillon family has produced traditional spontaneously fermented Lambic since 1900 using the same equipment, the same process, and the same wild yeast culture. The brewery doubles as a small museum and tasting room.
Tours run several times daily and end with a tasting of fresh Cantillon Gueuze, Kriek, Iris, and Saint-Lamvinus. The beer is sour, complex, and unlike any other beer in the world. You can buy bottles to take home — many of which are sought-after by global beer collectors.
