Our Take on Hotel Amigo
terrace · Polished The Hotel Amigo Terrace, on the upper level of the Rocco Forte property a single block from the Grand Place, is the city's most discreet upper-tier hotel rooftop and the room that comes closest to feeling like a private members' terrace. The seating capacity is small, the view is short — a tight outlook over the surrounding rooflines rather than a panorama — and the cocktail programme runs the Rocco Forte's house signatures alongside a stirred-classics list executed at genuine precision.
The wine list is the most serious on this list, with proper depth in Burgundy and Italian reserves alongside a competent Belgian selection. Service is hotel-polished in the most exacting sense. It ranks fifth because the room is genuinely excellent but the price tier and short view make it a destination occasional drink rather than a regular anchor.
