Cle Dubai — DIFC
Cle is Greg Malouf's DIFC restaurant-bar with a long late-night programme that pulls the finance crowd off-shift after 10pm.
The bar runs along the back of the dining room with a view onto Sheikh Zayed Road. Cocktails lean Levantine — sumac sours, arak old fashioneds, a pomegranate negroni. The kitchen pushes mezze until 1am which is rare in DIFC.
Reserve via Sevenrooms — Wednesday is the calmest weeknight, Thursday-Friday are full.
What to Order
Sumac Sour
Whisky, lemon, sumac syrup, egg white. The Levantine signature.
Arak Old Fashioned
Arak, demerara, anise bitters. Properly stirred.
