20up sits on top of the Empire Riverside Hotel and delivers a panoramic harbour view at a more accessible price point than Tower Bar or Clouds. The 20th-floor cocktail bar has floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Elbe and the container terminals beyond.
The cocktail program is well-built rather than precise. Strong selection of European spirits. The crowd is hotel guests and Hamburg locals 25-40. Reservations recommended on weekends.
