The Beatles' First Hamburg Club, Still Pouring
Indra Club is the heritage Beatles club where the band performed 48 nights in 1960 — their first international booking and the start of the Hamburg years. The room is a low-ceilinged basement with a small stage at one end, original 1950s decor, and beer mats nailed to every available surface.
Live music six nights a week — rock, blues, reggae, occasionally Beatles tribute acts. The beer is cheap (Astra and Pilsener on tap), the cocktails are basic, the atmosphere is the entire reason to come. Cash only. No reservations.
Pair with Le Lion earlier for a precise cocktail before the rock-and-roll history.
