Frankie's Tiki Room

$$

Frankie's Tiki Room operates on one of the great bar premises: open 24 hours, 365 days a year, no windows, no clocks, no concept of time. What it does have is a collection of over 3,000 tiki mugs hanging from the ceiling and walls, a rum list running to 200+ bottles, and a menu of strong tropical cocktails served in carved ceramic vessels with names like "The Zombie" and "The Shrunken Head."

The drinks are serious. The head bartender sources rum from small distilleries in Jamaica, Barbados, Martinique, and Guyana, and the menu is arranged by strength — from light and sessionable to drinks that come with a two-per-customer limit. The Zombie, following the original Donn Beach formula, remains capped at two. The atmosphere is unlike anything else in Las Vegas: dark, theatrically decorated, and populated at 4am by an eclectic mix of hospitality workers, late-shift casino staff, and tourists who wandered in by accident and stayed.
