Park sits on the roof of a multi-storey carpark in Bairro Alto, and it is one of the most genuinely surprising bars in Europe. From street level there is no sign, no fanfare, and no obvious indication that above you is a sprawling rooftop terrace with some of the best views in Lisbon. The Tagus estuary stretches south, the Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge glows in the evening light, and the terracotta rooflines of the city below unfold in front of you.
Cocktails 9 to 13 euros. Portuguese spirits and wines. Rooftop fills fast in summer.
The space itself is evidence of careful planning. The bar occupies the entire top level of the carpark, with an indoor bar running along one side, and a large outdoor terrace taking up most of the space. There is a small stage used for occasional DJs and live music. When you arrive at 6pm on a summer evening, the rooftop is empty except for the staff. By 6:30pm, locals start arriving. By 7pm, it is full. By 8pm, there is a queue on the stairwell.
The drinks list is short by intention: eight cocktails, a selection of Portuguese wines focused on Alentejo and Douro producers, and a curated collection of Portuguese spirits. The bar leans into local ingredients. Most cocktails use either ginjinha (cherry liqueur), aged aguardente (brandy), or local sparkling wine. The Caipirinha here uses Portuguese brandy instead of the traditional Brazilian cachaca. This is not a gimmick. It is an expression of place.

The simplicity of Park is its strength. There is no concept, no story, no brand narrative. There is a rooftop, a view, honest cocktails, and Portuguese spirit. That is sufficient.
