Our Take

The Unmarked Blue Door That Soho Refuses To Lose

Trisha's, officially the New Evaristo Club, hides behind an unmarked blue door at 57 Greek Street in Soho. There is no sign, just a door, a narrow stair, and a back courtyard that has barely changed in decades. Time Out keeps it on its list of the bars that make Soho still feel like Soho.

This is a members club in name and a beloved dive in spirit. If you want low lights, cold beer, and a room with history, you have found it. If you want a cocktail menu and a card machine that always works, this is the wrong door.

The Room

A small bar leads to a covered back courtyard hung with old photos, mismatched chairs, and decades of Soho memory. It is dim, close, and built for talking. Regulars on the London bar forums describe it as the closest the West End gets to a time capsule.

The Drinks

Keep the order simple. Cold beer, a glass of wine, or a spirit and mixer are what the bar does best, and the prices stay fair for the postcode. Do not arrive expecting a cocktail program. The point is the room and the company, not the build.

The Crowd

A loyal Soho mix of locals, industry stragglers, and regulars who have come for years. It fills late and stays late. Weeknights reward you with elbow room that weekends do not.

What Regulars Say
  • Bring cash. The card machine is not the priority here.
  • The back courtyard is the seat to claim.
  • One of the last truly unchanged Soho rooms, per Time Out and the London bar threads.
