Rooftop Bar · Beverly Hills · Los Angeles
Dante Beverly Hills
New York's most decorated aperitivo bar moved onto the Maybourne's ninth floor and kept the Garibaldis, the martinis, and the discipline.
The Pitch
Aperitivo Hour, Ninth Floor
Dante Beverly Hills runs the rooftop of The Maybourne, the first West Coast room from the New York bar that built its name on Garibaldis and Negroni sessions. The bar stretches across the ninth floor with indoor and outdoor seats, a pool alongside, and the Hollywood Hills as the backdrop.
Time Out called it the best rooftop bar in Los Angeles, and Resy's editorial argued it is more than a world class cocktail bar, a restaurant with genuine kitchen ambition. The room wears royal blue velvet booths, white marble, and a Mediterranean fresco by Abel Macias.
Who would hate it? Anyone allergic to Beverly Hills pricing or hotel polish. The $10 martini window, 3pm to 5pm daily, is the room's one act of mercy.
The Room
Blue Velvet Over Canon Drive
The design leans coastal Italian: plush booths, marble counters, the Macias fresco, and a wood fired pizza oven working the far end. LAmag credits the room with bringing true aperitivo culture to the Maybourne's roof. Outdoor tables by the pool take the sunset; inside seats take the piano, live Monday through Friday.

The Drinks
Garibaldis First, Martinis at Three
Order the Garibaldi, the fluffy orange and Campari standard the New York original made famous, then work the martini list. The $10 martini menu runs 3pm to 5pm every day, the best cocktail value in the zip code. Italian and Mediterranean plates, locally sourced, carry the food side.
The Crowd
Beverly Hills on Its Best Behavior
Hotel guests, industry lunches that slide into aperitivo, and locals who learned the martini window's timing. Afternoons stay calm; sunset books out, especially Thursday through Saturday.
