Medina Rooftop Above Jemaa el-Fnaa

Le Salama is a three-floor restaurant-bar in the Medina overlooking Jemaa el-Fnaa. The interior is theatrical palm-house Moroccan — etched lanterns, low velvet seating, hammered brass tables. Live oud and qanun on weekends.

Classic Moroccan cuisine downstairs (tagines, pastilla, slow-cooked lamb). Cocktails and DJ on the rooftop terrace. The view straight onto Jemaa el-Fnaa from the third-floor terrace is the best one in the Medina.

Touristy in the best way — book a rooftop table for sunset and stay through dinner. Pair with Sky Bar Kenzi earlier in the evening for the Hivernage view.
