Our Take
One of Paris's Few Good Rooftop Bars
Le Perchoir opened in 2013 and is one of the few rooftop bars in Paris that takes both the view and the drinks seriously. The 11th arrondissement rooftop offers panoramic views over the Père Lachaise neighbourhood and across to Sacré-Cœur in the distance.
The cocktails are well-made and reasonable for a rooftop. The Spritz programme is the right entry point. The bartenders are friendly and the room is unfussy — Paris does not have many rooftops like this.
The crowd is mid-thirties Paris locals and travellers staying in the 11th. Best at sunset in summer. Pair with the wider Paris rooftop scene for a complete view-led evening.
