Hard Water is the Embarcadero whiskey bar with a 250+ bottle American-whiskey collection — one of the deepest dedicated whiskey programmes on the West Coast and a serious Charles Phan kitchen below it.
The bar specialises in American whiskey with a strong rye and bourbon depth. Daily flight programmes run three pours around a theme (rye, bourbon mash bills, single barrels). Kitchen does Southern-leaning bar food — fried chicken, deviled eggs, gulf-shrimp.
