Tramonto Bar & Terraza sits on the ninth floor roof of Hotel NOI at Avenida Nueva Costanera 3736 in Vitacura, beside the pool, with the Andes stacked across the eastern view. Conde Nast Traveller listed it among the world's best hotel rooftops back in 2012, and sunset remains the reason the elevator exists.
You book a table for the hour before sundown, order a cocktail, and watch the mountains change color over the city. Come hungry for dinner, though, and you will leave underfed; reviewers call the food menu limited, so eat before or after.
