Our Take on Enoteca Saint
· Wine list Saint Vin Saint has been on Rua Bela Cintra in Jardins since 2002 and remains the city's most encyclopedic wine list — close to a thousand references, with verticals of Argentine Catena and Achával-Ferrer that even Buenos Aires struggles to match, and a classical Burgundy and Bordeaux bench that anchors the older-collector business. Owner Wagner Diehl still runs the floor most weekends and the buying conversations happen at the counter.
The kitchen does a tight bistro menu designed to flatter older reds. Pricing is steep but honest given the cellar depth. Ranks ninth because the room leans Old World and overlooks the Brazilian wave above, but for serious classed-growth drinking in Sao Paulo nothing else comes close.
