Our Take on La Terraza del EME
Calle Alemanes runs along the north wall of the Cathedral, and from the roof of the EME Catedral Mercer hotel the Giralda stands close enough to count its balconies. La Terraza del EME claims the best seat on that street. At dusk the tower lights come on and the whole terrace turns to face them.
The bar builds its cocktail list in collaboration with Dry Martini by Javier de las Muelas, the Barcelona institution. The Rooftop Guide lists the terrace among Seville's essential rooftops for exactly this combination, serious drinks pointed at a postcard.
It stays open 365 days a year, and resident DJs take over on Friday and Saturday nights. This is the terrace for a first night in Seville, not the fifth.
Reading the Room
The terrace wraps the hotel's top floor in low lounge seating, with the Cathedral filling the southern view. Tripadvisor reviewers note the small tables and basic stools, built for a drink and a photograph rather than a long evening. Come for golden hour and surrender the seat by 11pm.

Who Shows Up, and When
Expect to pay for the view. Tripadvisor regulars put drink prices at roughly double the Seville street rate, the standing toll on this skyline.
Hotel guests, couples, and camera-first travelers dominate before 10pm. The DJ sessions pull a younger, dressed-up crowd deeper into the night on weekends.
