The Baxter Inn has been ranked in the World's 50 Best Bars list for years. The basement bar holds around 800 whiskies — Scottish single malts, Japanese, Australian, American, and Irish — and the bartenders are encyclopedic about each.
The whisky tasting flights are organised by region, distillery, or style. The cocktail programme is whisky-led classical. The Old Fashioned uses premium bourbon by default. The room is intentional: leather banquettes, dim warm lighting, brass fittings.
