Suvarnabhumi (BKK) is one of Asia's busiest hubs and a cathedral-scale airport designed by Helmut Jahn — a vast steel-and-glass terminal that's beautiful, oppressively hot at the wrong hours, and full of long walks between gates. Don Mueang (DMK), the older low-cost-carrier airport, doesn't have a competing drinking story.
