Heteroclito is Athens's most respected Greek wine bar — 100+ Greek producers (Assyrtiko from Santorini, Xinomavro from Naoussa, Limnio from Limnos), simple plates, and a deep sommelier-led tasting program. The room is candlelit with leather banquettes and an antique wooden cellar at the back.
The wine list runs 100+ bottles deep. Bartenders are sommeliers — they will pour two or three tastings before you commit to a glass. The crowd is Athens wine professionals and visiting wine tourists.
