Bangkok's Most Committed Live Music Bar

Soul Bar has been pouring on Charoenkrung Road since 2013 and quietly built itself into the most committed live music bar in Bangkok. The bookings are blues and soul, with the occasional jazz or funk evening. The room is small and the band sets up against the back wall.

The drinks are inexpensive cocktails and beer. The cocktail programme is unambitious — this is not the place for craft cocktails. Order a beer or a Negroni and watch the band.

The crowd is mid-thirties to fifties, music-focused, and quiet during sets. Pair with Tropic City further up Charoenkrung for a music-then-cocktails Bangkok evening.
