+ small plates · Modern Rødder & Vin is the Vesterbro wine-and-small-plates room that came out of the post-Relæ wave of Copenhagen chefs and made the format genuinely accessible. The list is balanced between natural-leaning Loire, Italy and the new wave of German skin-contact whites, and the kitchen runs a sharp vegetable-led small-plate menu calibrated to the by-the-glass programme.

The room is bright, the staff are unusually generous with explanation, and the pricing remains honest. It ranks fifth for being the most welcoming serious wine bar in Copenhagen for non-trade drinkers — the bar most likely to convert a sceptic, without watering down the list.
