The Old Man has been ranked in the World's 50 Best Bars top 5 for years. The bar is named for Hemingway and the cocktail menu is built around his novels and characters — drinks named for The Old Man and the Sea, A Farewell to Arms, For Whom the Bell Tolls.
The cocktails are technically precise and the bartenders explain each drink's literary reference. The Daiquiri Hemingway is the right first order — the Papa Doble specification served at El Floridita in Havana. The seasonal menu rotates regularly.
