· Wine list Vibes is the Mira Hotel's top-floor wine room in Tsim Sha Tsui, a quiet, low-lit space that delivers the most underrated by-the-glass Champagne programme on the Kowloon side of the harbour. Head sommelier Janet Wang stocks twenty grower Champagnes including allocations of Selosse, Tarlant and Cédric Bouchard that the Central hotels do not have access to, and pairs them with a kitchen of small-plate Asian fusion that the harbour-view setting forgives.

Prices are firmly in hotel territory. Ranks fifth because the format is more lounge than wine bar but the Champagne programme is genuinely outstanding and the view across to Central justifies the harbour crossing.
