La Clandestina is Roma Norte's most respected mezcal bar — 50+ artisanal mezcals from small Oaxacan producers, no music, no televisions, full ceremonial mezcal service. The bartenders are mezcaleros — they will sit with you and walk through the regions, agave varieties, and production methods.
Each mezcal is served at room temperature in a clay copita with orange slices and worm salt. The bar makes a serious case for mezcal as a sipping spirit — like single malts, not for cocktails. Cash-friendly, low-key, packed with locals.
