Frank Bar is the Maksoud Plaza hotel cocktail bar, repeatedly ranked on the World's 50 Best Bars list and considered one of the city's most rigorous classic-cocktail rooms.
The bar is small and dim with a long counter and a small bandstand for live jazz Wednesday-Saturday. Cocktails are classics-with-precision, dry martinis, sazeracs, properly stirred manhattans. Spirits collection is one of the deepest in São Paulo.
Reservations strongly recommended, Saturday books out a month ahead. Bar seats are first-come.
