Our Take

Surry Hills' Heritage Irish Cocktail Bar

The Wild Rover is Surry Hills' most heritage Irish-themed bar — three floors of cocktails and live music in a heritage 1900s building. Ground floor is the bar, mezzanine is the snug, top floor is the live music venue. Open since 2012.

The cocktail program is broad and well-built with a focus on Irish whiskey. Live trad music three nights a week. The crowd is Sydney cocktail enthusiasts 25-50.

Pair with Maybe Sammy for a more polished cocktail evening.
